I love Michael Spencer. SmartGuy(tm), etc. His laments in particular are some of the best Christian writing on the web. But I can't help differing with him when he tells a story to explain why he calls himself 'post-evangelical' here: Why I'm Post-Evangelical

Looking back on my spiritual journey, which can be summed up as a journey from a narrow ideology to the wide arms of Jesus, I can now recognize various formative moments that became small stepping stone toward where I am today.
